Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and identify discrepancies in financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure alignment with internal records.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve reporting.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
