Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audit requirements.
- Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions to troubleshoot discrepancies and generate reports.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide insights on budget variances and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
