Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This is a full-time position based in the heart of Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and monthly financial statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
