Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings (1099s, W-2s).
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and/or Xero to manage financial data and generate financial statements.
- Collaborate with the tax team to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards.
- Experience with NetSuite or Sage is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
