Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Support tax preparation and documentation for compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for data entry and reporting
- Conduct financial audits and variance analysis under supervision
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks certification preferred but not required
