Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and government compliance filings.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
