Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation.
- Input and verify financial data using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Maintain organized and accurate digital and physical filing systems.
- Support the payroll process by collecting timesheets and verifying hours.
- Prepare basic financial reports for management review.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to obtain relevant bookkeeping certifications (on-the-job training provided).
