Core Responsibilities:
We are looking for a candidate who can handle the full cycle of accounting with precision.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with a focus on timely payment.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the internal team to optimize financial processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience (Remote or Hybrid experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must reside in the Louisville, KY area for local integration requirements.
