Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and recorded according to GAAP.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and year-end audits.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
