Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and approved budgets.
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including data entry, matching, coding, and payment execution.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and adjusting entries.
- Maintain and update the AP ledger and vendor master files with current information.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or related financial functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reconciliation processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
