We are urgently hiring a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our elite Finance team in New York. This is a fully remote position for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, and verification to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies quickly to maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP principles, and company policies regarding expense reporting and payment approvals.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals, adjustments, and preparing supporting schedules for audit.
- Maintain accurate vendor master data in our ERP system and resolve any data entry errors.
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports to management regarding AP aging and cash disbursements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Operations) to resolve invoice queries and streamline processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or Finance within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is mandatory) and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in high-volume data processing.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote setting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
