In this high-impact role, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, and provide essential support to our accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and send accurate, timely invoices to clients.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledgers.
- Process payroll and handle tax-related documentation and compliance.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records for easy retrieval.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws, GAAP, and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be eligible for daily pay processing.
