Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist in month-end closing processes and audit preparations
- Process payroll transactions and ensure tax compliance
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Implement internal controls to safeguard asset integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or comparable accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred
