Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax documents to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate financial data within our accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite).
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial forecasting and budget support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is a plus, but strong experience is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
