Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and review nightly financial reports, ensuring all data is up-to-date and error-free.
- Assist with the month-end and quarter-end close procedures, including journal entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and perform audits of financial records.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing and account status during operating hours.
- Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger and fixed asset tracking.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (Night Shift experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be available to work 3rd shift hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
