Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Assist with sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Maintain organized client financial records in QuickBooks Online
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis for business partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong GAAP knowledge and tax compliance understanding
- Detail-oriented with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced settings
- Valid Wisconsin CPA license preferred
- Daily pay program enrollment required
