Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and GAAP.
- Process payroll assistance and maintain employee time records.
- Support the audit process by providing requested documentation and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
