Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and support the annual budgeting process.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
- Assist in the internal audit process and implement internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
