Responsibilities
- Process and verify high volumes of invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check, ensuring accurate coding and posting.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries promptly.
- Maintain and update the vendor Master File, ensuring all data is current and accurate.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and financial reporting support.
- Manage petty cash and expense reports for the finance team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors before they impact the ledger.
- Strong communication skills for vendor interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
