We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Night Shift Accountant to join our elite finance team in Fort Worth, TX. In this critical role, you will ensure the accuracy of our financial data, support the end-of-day close process, and contribute to our robust reporting structure. Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and receivable reconciliations with precision.
- Prepare nightly journal entries and reconcile bank statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, meeting all critical deadlines.
- Generate detailed financial reports and variance analysis for senior leadership.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct audits of financial documents and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar financial role.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts with high focus.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
