Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support.
- Organize and file financial documents and records efficiently.
- Conduct regular audits of expense reports and vendor contracts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
