Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit applications, and borrower profiles to assess creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval or denial in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor existing accounts for changes in financial health and proactively manage credit risk exposure.
- Collaborate with the underwriting and collections teams to resolve complex credit issues.
- Conduct industry research to stay updated on market trends affecting credit risk.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our credit management software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
