Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle a high volume of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional face-to-face customer service, answering questions and resolving inquiries with a friendly demeanor.
- Product Promotion: Proactively cross-sell and refer customers to appropriate bank products, such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Cash Management: Perform daily cash balancing, reconcile vault transactions, and ensure strict adherence to cash handling policies.
- Operational Efficiency: Maintain a neat, organized, and secure workstation while adhering to strict compliance and security regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Math Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
