Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and assisting clients with new account openings.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for our suite of financial products, such as loans, credit cards, and investment accounts, to meet branch revenue goals.
- Maintain the integrity of the cash drawer and vault through daily balancing and reconciliation procedures.
- Adhere to strict regulatory compliance standards, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior tellers to ensure team excellence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bank Teller or in a similar customer-facing financial role.
- Strong cash handling skills with a proven track record of accuracy and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank teller software systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
