Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections to determine creditworthiness.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate and score loan applications based on established credit criteria and risk management policies.
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed credit memos, financial summaries, and recommendation letters for loan approval committees.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly monitor existing accounts for early signs of financial distress and recommend corrective actions.
- Compliance: Ensure all credit decisions and documentation comply with federal and state regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, sales, and collections teams to optimize loan performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial lending.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Black Knight) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
