Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos, financial models, and presentations for loan committees.
- Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to identify trends, risks, and delinquencies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and internal banking regulations.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and underwriters to structure loan terms effectively.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of existing borrowers to ensure covenant compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior management.
- Must be a self-starter with high attention to detail and ethical integrity.
