Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit applications to evaluate borrower risk.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to support lending decisions.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for the underwriting committee.
- Monitor existing accounts for early signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Collaborate with sales and relationship managers to resolve complex credit issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, banking regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk assessment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
