Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow reports to assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Develop comprehensive credit memos and present findings to the Credit Committee.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of default.
- Establish and maintain credit limits for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure complex transactions.
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes impacting lending practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CAM) are a plus.
