Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately, including cash withdrawals, deposits, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their banking experience.
- Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance and inquiries.
- Identify and cross-sell appropriate financial products and services to meet customer needs.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile daily settlements to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and security protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or Customer Service Representative is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform mental calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Fraud detection and security awareness.
