Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee review
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance with lending covenants and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic factors affecting credit risk
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, lending regulations, and risk assessment frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial information
- Professional certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) highly desirable
