Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for loan committees and senior management
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify potential risk exposures
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Maintain accurate credit documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop financial models and forecasts for credit analysis scenarios
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of banking regulations (FDIC, OCC guidelines)
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
