Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring 100% accuracy and adherence to strict deadlines.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax returns (941, W-2, state reports) to ensure full compliance.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, garnishments, and employee inquiries regarding compensation.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files in compliance with OSHA and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate data integration for benefits and deductions.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and provide insights on labor costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Payroll.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws, including FLSA.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred due to the diverse demographics of our client base.
