Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of borrower profiles, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assess creditworthiness and prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approval or denial.
- Monitor and manage existing credit facilities, identifying early warning signs of financial distress.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to improve risk assessment accuracy.
- Prepare and present complex financial data to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or banking.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, lending standards, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
