Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax planning consultations to optimize client financial outcomes
- Analyze financial records to identify deductions and credits
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and Texas state tax codes
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax strategies
- Maintain accurate client documentation in tax software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of tax preparation experience (CPA or EA candidates preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of federal and Texas tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Valid Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
