Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan applications, financial statements, and creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos with risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with relationship managers on structuring optimal loan terms
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit risk
- Present findings to credit committees and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, Bloomberg)
- Strong knowledge of SBA lending structures
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience with credit risk software (e.g., Moody's RiskCal)
