Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Research complex tax codes and regulations for compliance
- Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and deductions
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte) for efficient processing
- Conduct tax planning consultations for small businesses
- Maintain accurate client documentation and digital records
- Collaborate with senior associates on audit support cases
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
- 1+ years of tax preparation experience preferred
- PTIN and enrolled agent certification a plus
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
