Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across 10 states using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, unemployment)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 99.8% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/yearly tax filings (941, 940, W-2)
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and HR leadership
- Train staff on timekeeping system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Deep knowledge of multi-state tax laws and garnishment rules
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficient in Excel with pivot table experience
- PHR or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Ability to prioritize in high-volume deadlines
- U.S. work authorization and clean background check
