Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit applications to determine risk levels.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and recommendation reports for the lending committee.
- Monitor the performance of existing credit accounts and identify early warning signs of financial distress.
- Conduct detailed industry and company research to support lending decisions.
- Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to structure complex credit facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal credit policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Deep understanding of financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and credit scoring models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
