Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile monthly financial statements across 10+ client accounts
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance (federal/state)
- Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for executive review
- Implement GAAP-compliant accounting procedures and internal controls
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly/annual reviews
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Lead month-end closing processes with zero material discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Proven track record of meeting weekly/monthly deadlines
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and GAAP compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (error rate <1%)
- Ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
