Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) to input data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
