In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will work closely with our senior accountants to learn the fundamentals of bookkeeping while handling real-world financial tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and monthly statements.
- Process payroll assistance and maintain accurate employee records.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist the senior accounting team with year-end audits and tax preparations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new accounting software.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation (optional but preferred).
