Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Process high-volume transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Manage VAT returns and HMRC compliance documentation
- Assist with year-end audits and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting
- Collaborate with senior finance on process improvements
- Train junior staff on accounting systems and procedures
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in practice or industry accounting
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Experience with Xero/QuickBooks/Sage software
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
