Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs aligned with federal/state regulations (e.g., AML, BSA, FINRA)
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Prepare detailed reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
- Train staff on compliance policies and regulatory updates
- Collaborate with legal and audit teams to resolve compliance issues
- Stay current on industry changes and propose process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of compliance experience in financial services
- Relevant certifications (CRCM, CAMS, or CCEP) preferred
- Proficiency in compliance software (e.g., MetricStream, Wolters Kluwer)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
