Responsibilities
- Monitor evolving federal, state, and local regulations to ensure continuous compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential gaps in compliance protocols.
- Develop, review, and update internal policies and procedures to align with legal requirements.
- Investigate internal reports of policy violations and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff on regulatory requirements and ethical conduct.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive leadership and external regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to implement necessary changes to business processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations, including SEC, FINRA, and state-specific laws.
- Professional certifications such as CFE, CPA, or CCEP are highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively train and report to stakeholders.
