Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and advise the organization on necessary compliance updates.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Investigate internal compliance concerns and violations, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities and regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and OFAC regulations.
- Professional certification such as CAMS, CRCM, or CFE is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
