Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in current processes.
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and training materials for employees.
- Monitor changes in federal, state, and local laws to ensure organizational adaptation.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations, preparing detailed reports for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with legal and HR departments to ensure alignment across the company.
- Manage the annual compliance calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing.
- Strong knowledge of SOX, HIPAA, or relevant industry regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Certification such as CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) is highly preferred.
