Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within our processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures tailored to our business needs.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Investigate any violations or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry best practices to ensure our policies remain current.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a compliance or regulatory role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant compliance laws, including AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFE, CRCM, CAMS) is a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
