Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit internal operations to ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for staff regarding regulatory updates and internal protocols.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports to regulatory bodies and executive leadership on a quarterly basis.
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risk.
- Stay abreast of changes in industry laws and standards to ensure the company remains compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, or state-specific laws).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Certification such as CFE, CFP, or a Juris Doctor is a plus.
