Responsibilities
- Monitor Regulatory Standards: Continuously assess and ensure the organization's practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EPA, and industry-specific regulations.
- Conduct Internal Audits: Perform regular internal audits to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate liability.
- Policy Development: Develop, update, and communicate internal compliance policies and procedures to all employees.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate and report on compliance violations or internal incidents, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
- Training & Education: Lead compliance training sessions to educate staff on regulatory changes and company protocols.
- Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
