Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations.
- Investigate and resolve internal complaints and reports of misconduct or policy violations.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance status for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Train staff on compliance standards, ethics, and safety protocols to foster a culture of accountability.
- Stay updated on changes in industry laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Coordinate with external auditors and legal counsel as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, or financial compliance standards depending on the sector).
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
- Certification such as CCEP or CHRP is a plus.
